2014 - present BASIC SCIENCE—NERVE FUNCTION, REPAIR, AND RECOVERY

Randall C. Paniello, MD. Experiment design, performing animal ex- periments and dissections investigating methods of nerve repair after complete transection and sensory function. Developed novel method and instruments for performing laryngoscopy and quantifying supra- glottic sensation in a rat model which will be used to investigate mechanisms leading to superior laryngeal nerve dysfunction. Work has been presented at multiple scientific meetings and resulted in multiple publications in the Laryngoscope.
